Most woodchuck burrows are 25-30 feet long and 2-5 feet deep and can do damage to foundations, sheds, and landscaping. Woodchucks often devour vegetable gardens. They can gnaw on fruit and ornamental trees and sometimes even decks or siding.

I do a good amount of woodchuck trapping each year.  They can be devastating to a gardener's hard work. Installing and burying fencing is a good long term solution to protect your garden.
